Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mark Bounty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Twelf Thermandin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thermandin has chosen Prelude 12 by Styx as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thermandin misses with a leg kick
and Bounty counters with a left to the body.
Bounty on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Thermandin shoots in looking for a takedown. Bounty tries to sprawl out of it but Thermandin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bounty manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Thermandin working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
