Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jefferson Burnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kan Tutz!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tutz throws a head kick that misses.
Tutz throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Burnett.
Tutz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Tutz blocks a head kick by Burnett.

Burnett throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Tutz was covering up waiting for the punch and Burnett finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Tutz looks winded!

Burnett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Burnett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tutz looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burnett thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Burnett decides to stand up, so the ref orders Tutz to his feet.
Burnett tries a head kick but it misses.

Tutz lands a head kick!
Kan Tutz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Burnett drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Burnett lands a decent elbow from side control.
Burnett in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Tutz taking punishment in the form of punches.

Burnett stands up and beckons Tutz to his feet.

Tutz gets tackled into the cage by Burnett. Burnett maintains the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Burnett is trying to trip Tutz. He has hold of a leg but Tutz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Burnett persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Burnett postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burnett makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Burnett stops Tutz from standing up.
Tutz looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Tutz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Burnett could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Burnett gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Tutz blocks a head kick by Burnett.
Burnett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Burnett bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Burnett scores with a couple of short elbows.
Tutz taking punishment in the form of punches.

Burnett looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tutz is looking to get back to his feet here but Burnett is keeping cool and he's managed to take Tutz's back.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Burnett connects with a big shot to the side of Tutz's head.
Tutz covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Burnett tries to get the hooks in deep but Tutz pushed the leg off.
Burnett is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Tutz up.

Burnett working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Tutz is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Burnett has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Tutz taps out!
