Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, David Wardrop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dex Green!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wardrop darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Green looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Wardrop thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Wardrop is trying to work for a kimura but Green is defending well.
Wardrop wants to advance to full mount but Green doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

Wardrop postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Green is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wardrop, into his guard.

Wardrop has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Green got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wardrop has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Green has managed to get both his arms back between Wardrop's legs - danger averted.

Wardrop shoots in and bounces Green off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
