Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Herb Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Orlando Maltravers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Herb Dean has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Herb Dean!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Orlando Maltravers!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Maltravers tries to close the distance and clinch but Dean swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Maltravers moves out of range of the body kick from Dean.
Dean could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Maltravers closes the distance looking to clinch
and Dean counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Maltravers!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Maltravers can do anything to dispel that myth.
Dean misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Dean will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dean working the head and body with strikes.

Dean throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Dean is staying tight to Maltravers's torso, preventing him from escaping.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dean creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Maltravers sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Maltravers is looking for a sweep.
The referee asks Dean politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dean prefers to stall for the moment though.
Maltravers can't do much from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dean controls the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dean is defended easily by Maltravers.
Dean clinches up with Maltravers and pushes him back against the cage.
Maltravers comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Herb Dean has been cut.
Dean blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Maltravers misses with an elbow over the top.
Dean takes a knee right on the jaw!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Maltravers putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Dean in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Dean is breathing heavily.
Maltravers with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Maltravers lands a damaging elbow.
Herb Dean's cut is getting worse.
Maltravers lands an elbow inside that Dean shrugs off.
Herb Dean's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Herb Dean's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
