Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs comes into the arena with Apocalypse Please blaring out of the sound system. Mike Guzman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mike Guzman!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Ben Watson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Guzman manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Gibbs won't allow Guzman to sweep him here.
Gibbs throwing strikes from guard but Guzman blocks nicely.
Gibbs trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Gibbs throws a big right hand that misses.
Gibbs cracks Guzman with a solid left hand.
Gibbs throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guzman works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Gibbs is in close to Guzman's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Guzman has momentary wrist control but Gibbs slips an elbow through the middle.

Gibbs lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Gibbs works over Guzman with some ground and pound from guard.
Guzman is rocked!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gibbs accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Guzman looks winded!

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gibbs's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Gibbs throws a big elbow that misses.
Gibbs is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Gibbs with a nice head shot there.
Guzman is still in real trouble! Can Gibbs finish him?
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Gibbs working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Guzman's head.
Gibbs gets to his feet and stands over Guzman, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Guzman felt that one! Gibbs unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Guzman from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Janno Gibbs!
