Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eerikki Kurki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Wishy Washy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eerikki Kurki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Boris Wishy Washy! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kurki throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wishy Washy scores with a decent looking hook. Kurki cracks Wishy Washy with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Wishy Washy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kurki moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Wishy Washy looks to land a combination but Kurki avoids it well. Wishy Washy moves out of range of the strikes. Kurki uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wishy Washy. Wishy Washy looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. We've been hearing reports that Kurki has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Wishy Washy blocks a head kick by Kurki.
Nice defenses there by Kurki. Sloppy strikes from Wishy Washy. Those never looked like landing. Wishy Washy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kurki loads up on a big right hand but Wishy Washy slips the punch. Wishy Washy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kurki sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kurki ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Boris Wishy Washy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wishy Washy's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Kurki connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Wishy Washy scrambles back to his feet. Kurki closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Wishy Washy to the mat! Wishy Washy manages to get full guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kurki passes Wishy Washy's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kurki moves into full mount! Wishy Washy won't be happy about that!
That's one minute gone in the round. Kurki has isolated one of Wishy Washy's arms. Wishy Washy looking to fight him off but Kurki twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
