Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yong Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Rug (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andy Rug will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yong Valentine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Rug! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rug closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Rug manages to break the clinch.
Valentine dodges the punch combination from Rug.
Rug darts in and clinches Valentine up against the cage. Valentine takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Yong Valentine has been cut. Rug misses with a knee strike.
Valentine wants to break the clinch but can't.
Rug lands an elbow just above Valentine 's eye. Valentine goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Valentine can't break the clinch.
Rug misses with a knee to the head. Rug tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Valentine has Rug pushed against the cage. Valentine can't get the takedown.
Rug is pressed up against the cage. Valentine has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rug down to the mat. Rug avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rug pushes Valentine up against the cage in a clinch. Rug misses with a knee strike.
Rug lands a nice uppercut. Rug breaks from the clinch.
Rug gets in close and instigates a clinch. Rug's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Valentine shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Valentine showed some decent athleticism there. Rug is trying to escape back to his feet but Valentine uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Rug wants to get back to his feet but Valentine drags him back down. Rug tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rug trying desperately to get to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rug has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Rug looks winded! Rug is trying to stand back up. Rug fending off the submission attempt from Valentine. Valentine looking to break Rug's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Rug remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Valentine will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rug holding both Valentine 's hands and preventing any damage. Valentine has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rug is trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valentine looking for the RNC. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Valentine.
Rug has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Valentine is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Rug has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Valentine has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Rug taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Valentine doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Yong Valentine!
