Kreischer comes to the cage accompanied by Lynyrd Skynyrd - Sweet Home Alabama. Bert Kreischer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Yuber!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yuber rushes Kreischer and presses him up against the cage.

Yuber has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kreischer regains guard immediately.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Yuber darts in trying to clinch

and Kreischer counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kreischer.
Kreischer drops down looking for an ankle pick but Yuber pulls his leg out and moves away.

Yuber moves into range and clinches up with Kreischer.
Come on Yuber - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Kreischer gets underhooks to prevent Yuber's takedown attempt.

Yuber has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kreischer is trying to keep an underhook but Yuber manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Kreischer is looking to improve his position.

Yuber is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Kreischer is defending against the submission attempts here by Yuber.
Kreischer wants to get back to full guard.

Kreischer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Yuber pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Yuber is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Yuber is looking to take a break and control but Kreischer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Yuber is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kreischer defends it well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kreischer is refusing to be controlled, as Yuber sits in half guard.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Yuber tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kreischer paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Bert Kreischer has been cut.
Yuber lands a really nice looking cross but Kreischer seems unphased.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Yuber shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Yuber arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Kreischer's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
