The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giant takes a swing at Courageous's ribcage but misses.
Giant goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Kevin Courageous has been cut.
Giant throws a wild body kick that Courageous sees coming a mile off.
Giant looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Nice combo by Giant! Oh, that's hurt him - Courageous falls to the canvas and Giant follows him into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
I looks like Courageous might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Giant is looking to get back to his feet here but Courageous is keeping cool and he's managed to take Giant's back.
Courageous really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Giant.
