Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alonzo Dalton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Coulter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drew Coulter has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alonzo Dalton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Drew Coulter! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Chris Dean and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coulter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coulter landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Dalton manages to get back to half guard. Dalton is looking to improve his position.
Coulter gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Coulter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dalton looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dalton wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land. Coulter wants to control but Dalton is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coulter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Coulter postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Coulter tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Coulter has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Dalton wants to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalton tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Coulter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Coulter decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dalton to his feet. Coulter looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Coulter trying to control the position from guard on top but Dalton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dalton is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coulter is looking to stand up but Dalton won't let him. Dalton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Coulter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Coulter manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Dalton has an active guard here but Coulter has managed to pass into half guard.
Dalton is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coulter wants to take a breather but Dalton is having none of it. Coulter is working for a submission of some sort.
Coulter perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coulter tries to pass to full mount but Dalton defends it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drew Coulter dominated that round. That's time! Dalton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dalton catches Coulter with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A head kick misses from Coulter. Dalton has managed to clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Dalton breaks from the clinch.
Dalton gets caught napping as Coulter dives in and scores a takedown. Dalton manages to retain guard. Dalton trying to strike off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coulter forces his way into half guard. Coulter throwing shots but Dalton is blocking nicely. Dalton actively working from the bottom here. Coulter passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Dalton! Coulter mounts Dalton! Really nice guard pass there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dalton defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Coulter. Coulter trying to control but Dalton is having none of it. Dalton is trying to escape the mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coulter jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Dalton manages to avoid the submission attempt. Coulter looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Coulter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Coulter is breathing heavily. Coulter stands up and beckons Dalton to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton swinging wildly here.
Coulter decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dalton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Drew Coulter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Coulter gets a clinch. Dalton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Coulter closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Coulter lands in his opponent's guard. Coulter loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Dalton has his foot on Coulter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Coulter works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dalton escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Coulter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Coulter tries to free his leg and advance position but Dalton is retaining full guard. Coulter pushes down on Dalton's leg and manages to get into half guard. Dalton looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Coulter is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coulter prevents Dalton from standing back up.
Coulter wants to work for an arm triangle but Dalton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Dalton is trying to get back to full guard. Coulter stands up out of the half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coulter gets the takedown into side control. Coulter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Dalton takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Coulter with the ground and pound but Dalton regains half guard under the barage of strikes. Coulter is working for a submission of some sort.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dalton looking for submissions off his back. Coulter stalling.
And that's the end of the fight! Drew Coulter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Coulter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Drew Coulter! A very excited looking Drew Coulter rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
