Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Julian Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Keats (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Keats! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas lands a leg kick that knocks Keats off balance momentarily. Thomas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Keats uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Thomas. Keats drops his hands momentarily and Thomas takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Keats misses with a hook
enabling Thomas to counter with a crisp jab. Keats takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've been told by Thomas's head coaches at MMA Gods - 16 Elites! + Roger Gracie that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Thomas lands a nice looking body shot.
Thomas looks to throw the jab but Keats is out of range. A jab lands there for Thomas. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Thomas darts in and clinches Keats up against the cage. Thomas misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Keats.
Thomas scores with a shot to the side of Keats's head. Thomas breaks from the clinch.
Thomas fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Keats. Keats throws a hook but Thomas blocks it. Keats closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Keats looks winded! Thomas wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thomas is trying to get back to full guard. Thomas is trying to maintain the position but Keats is very close to passing his half guard. Thomas keeping control of the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Julian Thomas wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Keats shoots in but Thomas avoids the takedown attempt easily. Keats throws a push kick but Thomas slaps the foot to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. No joy there for Thomas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thomas throws a body punch but Keats moves out of range. Thomas dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Thomas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Keats walks into a stiff left hand from Thomas. Thomas scores with a nice strike. Julian Thomas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Keats shoots for a double leg takedown but Thomas sprawls well. He's pushed Keats's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Keats tries to move into range but Thomas moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Keats goes for a double leg but Thomas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Thomas continues to drive forward. Julian Thomas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Keats. Thomas throws a knee to the head but misses.

Thomas dips a shoulder and cracks Keats with a mighty uppercut! Keats falls back against the cage and Thomas unloads with a barrage of strikes! Keats is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Thomas screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
