The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
A punch lands to the side of Jones 's head but he takes it in his stride.
O Malley shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
O Malley lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jones falls backwards - clearly groggy! O Malley dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Patrick O Malley!
In defeat, John Jones stepped up to the mic, saying 'He gave it all he got and so did i but he got the better of me and he comes out tonight with a win'.
