Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Adam avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Levan is defended easily by Adam.
Levan misses with a head kick.
Adam is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Levan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Adam defends well and Levan ends up having to push Adam into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Levan is trying to push Adam away but Adam has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Adam blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Adam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Adam shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Levan sprawls well. Levan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adam gets slowly back to his feet.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Adam wants to pass the guard but Levan is defending well.

It looks like Adam might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Adam prevents Levan from standing back up.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Adam in particular looking to stall.

Fabian Adam has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Adam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Adam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Levan is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Levan looks to move to half guard but instead Adam has passed into mount! Damn!
