Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eli Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Graham Ritchie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Graham Ritchie! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis pushes Ritchie up against the cage in a clinch. A frustrated look appears on Ritchie's face as he tries to break the clinch. Ritchie has Davis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ritchie pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Davis tumbling to the mat - Ritchie dives into Davis's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Davis wants to stand and escape but Ritchie is having none of it. Davis looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ritchie preventing the sweep. Ritchie controls from within his opponent's guard. Ritchie would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Davis moves into the clinch successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ritchie pulls guard effortlessly. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ritchie is on top in guard.
Davis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Davis is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Davis controlling the position. Ritchie advances to half guard. Ritchie throws a head kick but Davis moves out of range.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ritchie prevents Davis from getting back to his feet. It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ritchie feints and as Davis raises his hands in defense, Ritchie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Davis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis pulls Ritchie in close to prevent any damage. Davis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ritchie is one step ahead there. Davis is adopting a defensive guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ritchie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Davis pulls Ritchie in close to prevent any damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ritchie closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ritchie lands in his opponent's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ritchie trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Graham Ritchie dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Davis throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Ritchie seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Davis's chin but Davis turns very nicely into Ritchie's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Davis.

And that's the end of the fight! Graham Ritchie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ritchie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
