Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Terry Pollard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Danks!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pollard gets caught flat footed, as Danks shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Pollard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Danks looking to pass the guard.
Pollard is looking to stand up but Danks isn't so interested in that idea.

Pollard working for a triangle but Danks defends it easily.
Danks with a flurry of punches that miss.
Danks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Danks drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pollard dives on top into guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Danks tries to keep at a distance but Pollard has taken the fight into the clinch.

Danks tries to stall but Pollard uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Pollard is trying to break the clinch but Danks is controlling him.
Danks is trying to push Pollard away but Pollard has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Pollard jumps guard but Danks turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Pollard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

It looks like Terry Pollard has been cut.
Pollard takes a jab right on the kisser.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Danks shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Pollard is not content to let Danks control the position.
Danks not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Danks working over Pollard with some ground and pound. Pollard looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Danks controlling the action here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danks's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bobby Danks hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Danks swats away the attempt to clinch by Pollard.

Danks scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Danks passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Pollard!
Pollard is working to get back to half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Danks goes for an armbar but Pollard turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Pollard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pollard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Danks defends well and Pollard ends up having to push Danks into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Danks has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Danks has Pollard pressed against the cage, preventing Pollard from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Pollard is fighting off a takedown attempt but Danks is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pollard to the mat. Pollard regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Danks got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pollard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Danks has managed to get both his arms back between Pollard's legs - danger averted.

Danks seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Danks postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Pollard to stand up.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Pollard.
Pollard in side control, throwing shots but Danks defends.
Danks regains half guard.
Danks is not content to let Pollard control the position.

Danks manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Pollard keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Pollard tries to circle away but Danks has him pinned against the cage.
Danks prevents Pollard from breaking the clinch.

Danks successfully pulls guard.
Danks is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Danks working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pollard.

Danks doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Danks is controlling Pollard's posture.
Pollard trying to control but Danks is working from the bottom.
Danks is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Danks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pollard defends it well.

Danks is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Pollard has managed to free his arm - good work.
Pollard wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Danks shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Pollard can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Danks controls the pace.

Danks slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Danks sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Pollard is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Danks decides to stand up, so the ref orders Pollard to his feet.

Danks throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pollard tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Danks is in Pollard's guard.

Danks tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Pollard managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Danks.

Danks is trying to ground and pound but Pollard uses the momentary lack of control by Danks to regain half guard.
Danks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Pollard tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Danks manages to move to mount!
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Danks sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Pollard is looking to get to half guard.
Pollard blocking the ground and pound.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Pollard is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Terry Pollard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bobby Danks is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
