Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raf Fernandes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Urijah Brandao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandao comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pharell Williams - Happy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandao shoots and misses
and Fernandes counters by moving into the clinch.
Brandao is trying to pull guard but Fernandes has him pressed against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Fernandes.
It looks like Urijah Brandao has been cut.
Fernandes digs a right hand underneath Brandao's ribcage. Brandao let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Brandao looks winded!
Fernandes lands a damaging elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fernandes lands a body punch in the clinch.
Fernandes lands an elbow inside.
That has opened up Urijah Brandao's cut even more.
Fernandes lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Brandao's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
The cut above Urijah Brandao's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Fernandes lands a left hand.
Brandao is rocked!
Fernandes creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Brandao with a big uppercut! Brandao tries to clinch up but Fernandes pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Brandao to the mat! Brandao covers up and Fernandes unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Raf Fernandes!
