The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riberio tries to clinch but Mcdevett moves out of range.

Riberio is trying to pull guard but Mcdevett turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Riberio has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mcdevett creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Riberio's defenses.

We've been hearing reports that Mcdevett has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
