The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cut slips under a jab from Masters .
Cut keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Masters .
Cut throws the kick towards the body but Masters avoids it.
Masters lands an overhand right.
Masters missing with a left hand there. Cut was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Cut tries to clinch but Masters moves out of range.
Masters misses with a straight right.
Cut misses with a body kick.
Cut throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cut fails in his attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Masters lands a big head kick that sends Cut tumbling to the mat! Masters takes a step backwards and waves Cut back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Cut is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Masters looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Cut is still on wobbly legs! Can Masters finish him?
Masters misses with a two punch combination.
Masters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cut seems to have recovered his senses.
Cut pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Cut misses with a head kick.
Masters lands with a cross.
Cut closes the distance looking to clinch
and Masters counters with a head kick from the bowels of hell that crumples Cut! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ken Masters !
Ken Masters gave a mention to Bushido Fuku in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
