Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Ascanio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Altemio Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ascanio comes to the cage accompanied by Otis Taylor / Ten Million Slaves. Sanchez has chosen I Wanna Fuck You In The Ass as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ascanio looks to score with a jab to the body but Sanchez is just out of range.
Ascanio ducks under a wild hook from Sanchez.
Ascanio avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Altemio Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sanchez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ascanio pinned against the cage. Ascanio gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Sanchez throws a big shot that misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Sanchez.
Ascanio takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Sanchez has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ascanio moves away from the strike by Sanchez.
Sanchez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ascanio as he avoids it easily.
Dante Ascanio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Altemio Sanchez.
Sanchez looks for a takedown but Ascanio sprawls well.

Ascanio has taken the fight to the clinch.

Sanchez jumps guard but Ascanio turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Ascanio lands a left hand that snaps the head of Sanchez backwards.
Ascanio cracks Sanchez with a nice body shot.
Sanchez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ascanio is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Oh but Sanchez is tightening it up a little... Ascanio has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ascanio reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ascanio taps out! Nice BJJ there by Sanchez!
