Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nicol Bolas!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Winston Alpacca and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Bolas as Kekahuna shoots in.
Kekahuna misses with a head kick.

Bolas is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Kekahuna's half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kekahuna is looking to control Bolas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kekahuna avoid being mounted?

Bolas looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Bolas is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Bolas wants to control but Kekahuna is keeping him busy.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kekahuna manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

It looks like Bolas is going to stand back up.
Bolas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kekahuna keeps working.
Kekahuna moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kekahuna is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bolas defends well.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nicol Bolas.
Kekahuna moves in looking to clinch but Bolas pushes him off.
Kekahuna fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Bolas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kekahuna napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Bolas tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Kekahuna is trying to maintain the position but Bolas is very close to passing his half guard.

Bolas is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bolas looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Bolas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bolas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kekahuna was well out of range. Poor timing from Bolas.
Kekahuna tries to clinch but Bolas moves out of range.
Kekahuna avoids the body shot from Bolas.

Kekahuna gets tackled into the cage by Bolas. Bolas maintains the clinch.

Bolas pulls guard effortlessly.
Bolas wants to sweep here but Kekahuna controlling him for the moment.
Kekahuna trying to control but Bolas is working from the bottom.
Kekahuna in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Kekahuna forces his way into half guard.
Bolas tries to get to full guard but Kekahuna has control of the leg.
Bolas is trying to maintain the position but Kekahuna is very close to passing his half guard.
Bolas is looking to improve his position.

Bolas has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kekahuna uses from the top position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bolas can do anything to dispel that myth.
Bolas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kekahuna is controlling him.

Bolas might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Kekahuna haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Kekahuna won't allow Bolas to get back to his feet.
Bolas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kekahuna. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kekahuna wanted to stand there but Bolas had control of the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Nicol Bolas wasn't active enough on the ground.

It looks like Kaio Kekahuna has been cut.
Kekahuna is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Bolas Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Kekahuna is out cold, face down on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Nicol Bolas!
A victorious Nicol Bolas thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
The defeated Kaio Kekahuna had this to say: '"Fuck this lil boy. I fought this fight with a broken hand and 2 cracked ribs!...I will smash him in the rematch when I am healthy!..Well I still got his bitch!"'.
