Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Jo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aaron Yates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yates has chosen Here comes Tecca Nina - Tech N9ne as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Aaron Yates!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Jo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yates swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jo tries to free his leg and advance position but Yates is retaining full guard.
Jo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Yates working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jo lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Jo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yates displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jo.
Yates throws a lazy right hand but Jo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Yates drops Jo with a big left hand and mounts him. Jo is in big trouble!


Jo is rocked!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jo sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Oh Jo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Yates is trying to work for a kimura but Jo is defending well.

Yates seems to be looking for submissions.
Jo seems to have got his legs back now.

Yates is working for a submission of some sort.

Aaron Yates showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Jo is stalling here. Yates is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Jo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Yates has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Yates goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jo rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Yates's guard! Nice work there by Jo!

Jo has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yates to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Jo is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yates pulls down on the head and he's put Jo to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Aaron Yates!
An intense looking Aaron Yates took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Try to fuck me again bullshit org. I m a fucking beast. My opponent was highly hyped.....too bad'.
