Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kenshin Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chelios fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Chelios looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Chelios takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Maeda lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Horrible takedown by Chelios or perhaps it was just good defense by Maeda which made him look bad.

Chelios feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round but I would say that Kenshin Maeda will probably get the nod.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Maeda wants to clinch up but Chelios keeps it at a distance.
And that's the end of the fight!
Kenshin Maeda showed his dominance in that final round.
