Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Belingon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Pee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Master Pee has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kevin Belingon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Master Pee! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pee closes the distance and clinches up with Belingon, looking for a takedown. Pee pushes Belingon against the cage but Belingon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've been told by Belingon's head coaches at Cozad The Island that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Belingon gets a double leg takedown into Pee's guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Belingon throws a strike but Pee rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Pee wants to control from the top but Belingon keeps moving. Pee chips away with some ground and pound. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Pee has eaten all the pies! Pee postures up in Belingon's guard and throws a big left but Belingon blocks it. Pee missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pee stands and throws Belingon's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belingon struggling a bit here. Pee is putting a hurting on Belingon here, landing some big shots from side control. Pee tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Belingon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pee on the ground. Pee in side control, throwing shots but Belingon defends. Pee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Belingon prevents Pee from moving into mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Belingon can't do much from the bottom here. Pee swings around for an armbar but Belingon sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Pee's guard. Belingon tries to stand but Pee is controlling from the bottom. Belingon trying to control the position from guard on top but Pee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Pee has Belingon pulled in close to control his posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pee keeping full guard, as Belingon tries to pass. Belingon throwing strikes but missing. Belingon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Belingon trying to stand up but can't free himself from Pee's guard. Pee has his hands on Belingon's head, controlling the position. Pee wants to sweep here but Belingon controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pee is looking for a triangle but Belingon pushes his legs off easily.
Belingon trying to control but Pee is working from the bottom. Pee looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pee missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Belingon is not content to let Pee control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Master Pee dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Pee shoots in looking for a takedown but Belingon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pee's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Belingon changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pee stuck in half guard on the bottom here. Pee tries to buck Belingon off but Belingon is having none of it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belingon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Pee sneaks back into half guard. Pee is pressing down on Belingon's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belingon won't allow Pee to sweep him here. Belingon wants to pass the guard but Pee is keeping the position. Belingon won't allow Pee to get back to his feet. Pee trying to control the position.
Pee wants to stand and escape but Belingon is having none of it. Pee looking for a sweep. Not yet Pee, not yet. Pee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Pee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Master Pee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Belingon wants to clinch. Pee tries for a takedown but Belingon circles away easily and Belingon counters with an outside leg kick.
Pee shoots in for a takedown but Belingon shows good takedown defense. Kevin Belingon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Pee. Pee tries for a takedown but Belingon circles away easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Pee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pee swings widly with a right hand
and Belingon counters with a leg kick. Belingon lands a leg kick that knocks Pee off balance momentarily. Master Pee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Belingon lands with a kick to the temple. Pee shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Master Pee has been cut. Belingon tries to clinch but Pee moves out of range. Belingon leaves Pee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Belingon lands a head kick. Pee smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Pee misses with a takedown and Belingon counters with a head kick. That will keep Pee thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pee goes for a double leg but Belingon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Belingon continues to drive forward. Belingon breaks the clinch.
Belingon lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice takedown defense from Belingon. No joy for Pee on that attempt. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice sprawl there from Belingon as Pee shoots in. Belingon shoots in looking for a takedown. Pee tries to sprawl out of it but Belingon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kevin Belingon dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Master Pee's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Belingon darts in and clinches Pee up against the cage. Pee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Belingon is defending well. Belingon can't get the takedown.
Pee wants to get back to striking at distance but Belingon won't allow it.
Belingon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Belingon fails in his attempt to clinch. Belingon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's one minute gone in the round. Belingon shoots in and gets a takedown into Pee's guard. Pee looking to control.
Belingon has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pee is proving hard to escape from. Pee keeping moving, preventing Belingon from controlling successfully. Belingon wanted to stand there but Pee had control of the position. Belingon is looking to work some ground and pound but Pee has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pee pulls Belingon in close to prevent any damage. Belingon has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Pee shoots and misses and Belingon makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Kevin Belingon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Master Pee. Pee fails with the takedown and Belingon counters with a low kick, right behind Pee 's knee. Danga de danga de dang - Belingon scores with a four punch combination! Nice sprawl there from Belingon as Pee shoots in. Pee fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Belingon lands a head kick!
Kevin Belingon is winning the standup battle so far. Belingon throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pee. Belingon gets a clinch. Belingon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Belingon is looking to slow Pee down with leg kicks. Pee doesn't succeed with the takedown and Belingon moves into the clinch. Pee is trying desperately to land a takedown but Belingon is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pee.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pee is trying to pull guard but Belingon has him pressed against the cage. Belingon breaks the clinch.
Belingon moves in looking to clinch but Pee pushes him off. Pee looks to land a combination but Belingon avoids it well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pee shoots in looking for a takedown. Belingon tries to sprawl out of it but Pee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage.
