It looks like John Grizzly has been cut.
Grizzly misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Fernandes.
John Grizzly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fernandes avoids the body shot from Grizzly.
Grizzly shoots in for a takedown but Fernandes shows good takedown defense.
Fernandes moves away from the strike by Grizzly.
Fernandes leaves Grizzly with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fernandes throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Fernandes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grizzly moves away.

and Fernandes holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fernandes gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Fernandes throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Fernandes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Grizzly's efforts to push away.
Still in the clinch, Fernandes scores with a nice short uppercut.

Fernandes throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Grizzlys head.
Grizzly wants to stall.
Fernandes lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Fernandes stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Fernandes lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The cut above John Grizzly's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

John Grizzly's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Grizzly's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
