Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hector Armando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julian Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hector Armando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Julian Silva!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Silva closes the distance and clinches up with Armando, looking for a takedown. Silva pushes Armando against the cage but Armando circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Silva shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Armando defends it nicely.
Hector Armando has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Silva.
Armando swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Armando fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Armando's jab looks to have found its range, popping Silva under the eye.
Armando forces Silva back against the cage and clinches.
Silva will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Armando up against the cage.
Armando escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A punch lands to the side of Silva 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Silva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Silva manages to end up in side control.
Armando tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Silva wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Silva throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Silva lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Armando down.

Silva has hold of Armando's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Armando manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Armando tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Armando swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Silva is pushing down on Armando's leg trying to pass to half guard. Armando is fighting to maintain full guard but Silva has managed to sneak the leg through.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Silva is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Armando's shoulder. That is not cool.
