Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinny Murphy!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Murphy fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Collier sprawls well initially but Murphy persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Collier is controlling Murphy's trapped leg to prevent Murphy from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Collier might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Collier has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Murphy is on him like a limpet, forcing Collier back against the cage.
Collier blocks the elbow strike.

Murphy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Collier jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Murphy manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Collier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Murphy seems a little lost for a moment, as Collier dominates the positioning.

Murphy bucks up and tries to throw Collier off but instead Collier has got his back!

Collier is looking for the choke from the back position but Murphy is controlling his hands well.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Collier controlling the positon.

Collier is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Murphy has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Collier gets his hands free as Murphy looks to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Murphy falls off balance throwing a combination
and Collier counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Murphy goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Murphy shoots in and gets a takedown into Collier's guard.
Stanley Collier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Collier wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Murphy is looking to stall here but Collier recovers full guard.

A close second round but Vinny Murphy will probably get the nod - 10:9.

enabling Collier to counter with a crisp jab.

Stanley Collier has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Collier moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Stanley Collier.
I think Collier has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
