Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Raimo Ronne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Brutus Beefcake!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beefcake looks to throw the jab but Ronne is out of range.
Beefcake swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Beefcake connects with a single shot there.
It looks like Raimo Ronne has been cut.
Ronne ducks right into an uppercut from Beefcake.
Ronne throws a low kick but Beefcake avoids it.
Ronne shoots in and drives through. Beefcake sprawls well.
Beefcake cracks Ronne with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Ronne tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Beefcake pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Ronne is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brutus Beefcake!
