Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lao Tzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lao Tzu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Jay Penn!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tzu circles away.
Tzu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Penn shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Penn on the wrong end of a nice hook.
It looks like Jay Penn has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Penn is defended easily by Tzu.
Lao Tzu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Penn.
Tzu bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Penn's head.
Tzu throws a combination. Penn tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tzu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Penn moves away.
Penn takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Tzu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Tzu lands a body shot.
Some wild striking there from Tzu.
Tzu scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tzu jabs Penn to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A left and a right from Tzu both land. Nice combination.
Penn drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tzu is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Penn off and has taken his back!
You can see the frustration on Penn's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Tzu is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Tzu has got one arm under Penn's chin. This could be trouble... Penn trying to control the other hand but Tzu gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Penn has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Lao Tzu!
After the fight, Lao Tzu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
