Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oliver Mcclain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kim Lee ! The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcclain manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Lee shoots and misses and Mcclain holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lee gets control of Mcclain's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lee will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mcclain with a flurry of punches that miss. Mcclain drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lee dives on top into guard. Mcclain is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well. This has been an exciting period of action! Mcclain has his foot on Lee 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lee works his way back into a safe position though. Lee passes into half guard. Lee is trying to control. Mcclain wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Mcclain gets full guard. Mcclain throws a big elbow that misses. Mcclain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mcclain connects with a couple of short punches. Mcclain scoring with some ground and pound. Mcclain stopping the sweep attempt from Lee . Mcclain chips away with some ground and pound. Mcclain lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lee looks winded! Mcclain is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control. Lee wants to control the position but Mcclain says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Mcclain slips a nice elbow through Lee 's hands, connecting with Lee 's forehead. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mcclain connects with a nice short shot to Lee 's temple. Mcclain working over Lee with some ground and pound. Lee looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice strikes from Mcclain there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mcclain is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Lee is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Mcclain pulls his head out easily. Mcclain working Lee over with strikes. Mcclain is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Lee has managed to free his arm - good work. Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Mcclain lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcclain maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Lee could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Mcclain has cracked it and Lee is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Mcclain!
