Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grozni fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Goon manages to avoid it.
Grozni closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Goon quickly recovers to half guard.
Goon tries to get to full guard but Grozni has control of the leg.
Goon is not content to let Grozni control the position.
Goon controlling the position for now.
Grozni passes to full mount!
Grozni throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Grozni looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Grozni misses with a head shot.

Grozni has hold of Goon's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Goon manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Grozni gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Grozni tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Goon defends well and Grozni ends up having to push Goon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Goon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Goon manages to break the clinch.
Grozni misses with a low kick.
Goon keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Grozni fails with a takedown attempt.

Grozni uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Goon.

Grozni shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Goon as he jumps to the side.
Goon throws an overhand right that lands on Grozni's shoulder, as Grozni tries to avoid the shot.
Grozni moves away from the strike by Goon.
Goon keeps the fight on the outside.
Grozni shoots for a double leg takedown but Goon sprawls well. He's pushed Grozni's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Grozni closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Goon can't break the clinch.

Grozni has Goon pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Grozni pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Goon tumbling to the mat - Grozni dives into Goon's guard.
Grozni is breathing heavily.
Grozni controls from within his opponent's guard.
Grozni throws a strike but Goon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Goon slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Goon wants to control from the top but Grozni keeps moving.

Goon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mike Goon was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Grozni looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Goon is fending him off so far but Grozni persists. Nope, Goon circles away and we're back to standing.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Grozni throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Goon sends Grozni crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Goon is motioning to the referee to let Grozni up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Grozni is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goon misses with the combination.
Oh Grozni is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Grozni is holding his hands too far apart here. Goon throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Grozni is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
