Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mica Gavric (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raj Jigster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gavric kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Frank Zappa - Cocaine Decisions. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mica Gavric! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Raj Jigster! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gavric is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jigster's half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Gavric stops Jigster from getting back to his feet.
Gavric working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Gavric has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Gavric stops Jigster from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Gavric in particular looking to stall. Gavric tries to pass the half guard into mount. Jigster knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Gavric controlling the action here. Gavric thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Gavric perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Gavric has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mica Gavric wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jigster is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jigster tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Gavric counters with a single leg into guard. Jigster didn't expect that. Jigster is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gavric engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Gavric trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Jigster wants to stand and escape but Gavric is having none of it. Gavric engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Gavric pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jigster is keeping the position for now. Jigster is looking to stand up but Gavric isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mica Gavric. Jigster looks to clinch and Gavric counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Gavric. Gavric drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gavric jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Jigster wants to stand but Gavric is controlling the position. Jigster can't keep his opponent in guard - Gavric advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gavric sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jigster defending well though. Gavric is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jigster has managed to free his arm - good work. Gavric is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Jigster wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Gavric controlling the action here. Gavric is looking for a kimura here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jigster taking some punishment here, with Gavric in his half guard. Gavric decides to return to a standing position. Gavric scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Gavric tries to move to mount but Jigster blocks the move with his legs. Gavric is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Jigster is trying to escape and Gavric transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Jigster is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gavric! Very nice indeed!
