Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stevo Poullin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trent has chosen Sub Focus - Rock It as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stevo Poullin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Trent! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poullin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Poullin wants to control from the top but Trent keeps moving. Poullin throws a strike but Trent rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Poullin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Trent trying to control the position from guard on top but Poullin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Trent gets to his feet - Poullin follows without any prompting. Poullin sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Poullin scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Trent misses with a leg kick. Poullin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. A jab from Poullin finds it's way through Trent's defenses. Poullin throws a right hand that misses
and Trent counters by clinching up. Poullin blocks an elbow strike from Trent.
Trent lands a right hand that snaps the head of Poullin backwards. Trent comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Stevo Poullin has been cut. Poullin blocks the elbow strike.
Trent gets through Poullin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Trent is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Poullin blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Trent pressing his opponent against the cage. Poullin looking to stall.
Trent lands a good knee to the midsection. Poullin won't want to take too many of those. Poullin manages to break the clinch.
Ryan Trent is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Poullin throws a hook but Trent avoids it easily. Trent lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Ryan Trent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A slapping leg kick lands for Poullin.
Poullin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Trent. Trent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Poullin throws out the jab. A looping hook to the body misses from Poullin. Trent does a little dance to reset his feet. Trent misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Poullin just misses with a punch to the body.
Trent is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Poullin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Trent. Trent lands a nice looking body kick. Poullin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Poullin has a takedown stuffed. Trent avoids the body shot from Poullin.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A jab from Trent does it's job there. Trent fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Poullin. Trent works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Poullin walks into a jab. Poullin staying out of range there. Poullin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Trent cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Poullin throws a hook but Trent blocks it. A jab lands there for Trent. Trent lands a leg kick that knocks Poullin off balance momentarily. Poullin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Trent throws a leg kick but Poullin sees it coming and checks it nicely. Poullin scores with a jab to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Poullin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Trent throws a leg kick but Poullin sees it coming and moves out of range. Trent jabbing away but nothing is landing. Poullin with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Trent to score with a decent uppercut. A nice leg kick lands there from Trent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poullin lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Poullin. Poullin takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Poullin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Trent is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Poullin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Poullin throws a head kick that misses. Trent moves away from the strike by Poullin. Trent lands with a slapping head kick.
Poullin is rocked! Poullin checks a low kick from Trent. Trent scores with a sloppy right hand. Poullin should have avoided that one. Oh Poullin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Trent throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Poullin seems to have got his legs back now. Poullin ducks under a wild hook from Trent. Trent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Poullin, pushing him back against the cage. Poullin avoiding damage as Trent throws knees to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Trent holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Poullin wants to take the fight to the mat but Trent manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Trent fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Poullin throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ryan Trent seems to be getting the better of the standup. Trent tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Poullin is able to avoid easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Poullin. Trent does a little dance to reset his feet. Good leg kick by Trent there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Poullin throws a looping overhand right but Trent ducks down to avoid it. Trent tries to close the distance and clinch but Poullin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Poullin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trent manages to avoid it. Poullin thuds a left hand into Trent's body. Poullin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Poullin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Poullin misses with a wild body shot. Poullin tries to land a leg kick but Trent saw it coming and moves away.
Trent lands with a straight right. Poullin didn't see that one coming. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Poullin shoots in and drives through. Trent sprawls well. Trent steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Poullin. Nice body kick from Trent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poullin pulls out of a head kick attempt.

A slow jab from Poullin misses its intended target. Poullin throws a leg kick but Trent checks it. Trent fails in his attempt to clinch. Poullin tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Trent was well out of range. Poor timing from Poullin. Poullin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Poullin takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Trent turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Trent connects with a solid leg kick. Trent tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Trent connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Poullin has a takedown stuffed. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Trent displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Poullin throws out the jab. Trent cracks the inside of Poullin's front leg.

and Trent makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Trent fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. The fight moves into the clinch position. Trent lands a damaging elbow. Poullin blocks the elbow strike.

Jab by Trent. Trent displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Poullin. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevo Poullin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Trent misses with a body kick. Trent has closed the distance and engaged Poullin in a clinch.
Trent is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Poullin is defending well for now. Trent trying to control the position but instead, Poullin has worked for underhooks and has pushed Trent into the cage. Trent tries to work over Poullin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poullin is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Trent is keeping busy. Trent leaning against his opponent.
Poullin has Trent pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Poullin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Trent tumbling to the mat - Poullin dives into Trent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Trent looking for a sweep. Not yet Trent, not yet. Poullin throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Poullin looking to pass the guard. Poullin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Poullin trying to control but Trent is working from the bottom. Poullin looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Trent manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ryan Trent showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Stevo Poullin's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Trent scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Poullin throws a shot from downtown. Trent moves away and avoids it. Poullin is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A lazy left from Trent finds it's target. Trent fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Poullin. Poullin takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Trent throws a lazy right hand but Poullin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Poullin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Trent tries to clinch up but Poullin circles away and keeps his distance. A big right from Trent misses. Poullin misses with a body shot.
Trent avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Poullin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Poullin misses with a wild body shot. Trent throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poullin misses with a telegraphed body shot
enabling Trent to counter with a crisp jab. Poullin checks a low kick from Trent. Poullin doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Poullin blocks a low kick nicely. Poullin takes a jab right on the kisser.
Trent connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Trent thumps Poullin with a low kick. Trent scores with a nice right hand.
Trent checks a leg kick nicely. Poullin misses with a head kick.
Trent throws a leg kick which misses Poullin's front leg but catches the back leg as Poullin tries to avoid it. Poullin motions for Trent to come forward. Poullin throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Poullin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Trent. Both fighters are breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Poullin tries for a takedown but Trent sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Trent keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Trent lands a glancing blow to the side of Poullin's head. Trent moves into the clinch successfully.

Trent tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Poullin's elbow. Trent lands a damaging elbow. A short uppercut from Trent. Poullin will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Trent lands an elbow just above Poullin 's eye. Trent dips a shoulder and cracks Poullin with a mighty uppercut! Poullin falls back against the cage and Trent unloads with a barrage of strikes! Poullin is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Trent screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
