The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Donatello Bradman and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ku takes a jab right on the kisser.
Harvey connects with a jab.
Harvey has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ku is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Harvey scores with the left hand. Ku knows he should have avoided that one.
Harvey uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ku has time to react.
Harvey changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

and Harvey counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ku thinking.

Harvey is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ku had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Harvey throws a right and a left that Ku avoids nicely.
Ku has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Harvey scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ku has a takedown stuffed.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kumi Ku. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Harvey goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ku closes the distance and clinches up with Harvey, looking for a takedown. Ku pushes Harvey against the cage but Harvey circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Ku is rocked!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ku. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Harvey connects with a nice cross there... Ku is looking wobbly and Harvey recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Ku to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Harvey jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
