The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Golovkin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Gorfal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Golovkin!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Golovkin wants to control but Gorfal postures up.
Golovkin is looking to reverse the position.
Gorfal working away.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Gorfal wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Golovkin, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Golovkin wants to control but Gorfal postures up.
Golovkin is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gorfal tries to move to mount but Golovkin blocks the move with his legs.
Golovkin trying his best to control but Gorfal has mounted him.
Gorfal throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Golovkin because Gorfal loaded up on that one.
Gorfal wants to control the pace but Golovkin is squirming around nicely.
Gorfal punching from mount but Golovkin doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Golovkin is looking to improve his position but Gorfal isn't that keen on the idea.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gorfal avoids the attempt from Golovkin to control.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Gorfal trying to control but Golovkin is having none of it.
Gorfal throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Golovkin has his hands clasped together but Gorfal breaks the hold and Golovkin is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Gorfal!
