Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikio Okita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Caeser Augustus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mikio Okita had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caeser Augustus!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augustus scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Augustus looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Okita with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Augustus looks to land a strike but Okita avoids it nicely and regains full guard.

We've been hearing good reports from Okita's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Okita bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Augustus's guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mikio Okita will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Augustus decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Oh but Okita is tightening it up a little... Augustus has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Augustus reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Augustus taps out! Nice BJJ there by Okita!
