Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Myles Makdessi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grizzly Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grizzly Adams has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makdessi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Adams tries to close the distance and clinch but Makdessi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Makdessi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Adams's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Makdessi's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Adams is looking for a triangle here but Makdessi uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Makdessi is trying to maintain the position but Adams is very close to passing his half guard.

Adams maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Makdessi could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Adams has cracked it and Makdessi is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Adams!
