The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guzman moves away.
Sparrow swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sparrow misses with a looping left.
Sparrow moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Landon Guzman has been cut.
Guzman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Guzman throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sparrow tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Guzman is in Sparrow's guard.
Sparrow tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Guzman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sparrow shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Guzman is trying to defend but Sparrow finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sparrow sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Guzman's guard.

Sparrow looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Guzman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sparrow lands a nice short elbow.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sparrow lands a big elbow - Guzman is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Sparrow!

A relieved looking Colby Sparrow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
