Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Carthew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, If you want blood - AC/DC. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Bobby Carthew enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster throws a nice looking combination but Carthew bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Carthew tries to clinch up but Foster circles away and keeps his distance.

Carthew closes the distance and clinches.
Carthew tries to break the clinch but Foster is controlling the position.

Foster misses with a double jab.

Carthew is looking to clinch but Foster is avoiding it.

Carthew shoots in for a takedown but Foster shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Carthew takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Martin Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carthew tries to score a power double leg takedown but Foster sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carthew somewhat.

Foster connects with a good right hand that stumbles Carthew. Carthew circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Foster throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Carthew looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Foster is fending him off so far but Carthew persists. Nope, Foster circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters circling a little - Foster finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Foster fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carthew manages to avoid it.

Foster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Carthew was well out of range. Poor timing from Foster.

Carthew tries to score a body lock takedown but Foster shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Foster is in close to Carthew's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Foster has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Foster slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Foster postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Martin Foster will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Carthew tries to circle away but Foster has him pinned against the cage.
Foster is pushing Carthew up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Foster definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Foster pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Carthew throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Foster tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Carthew is in Foster's guard.
Carthew pushes down on Foster's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Carthew moves nicely into side control.
Foster is trying to get back to half guard.

Foster looking for a sweep but Carthew has passed into full mount! Oh no!

Let's hope that Carthew has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
