Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andy Yang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonne Engel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Engel leaves Yang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yang misses with a hook.
Yang throws a series of punches but Engel moves out of range.
Yang shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Engel as he avoids it easily.
Yang throws a lazy uppercut
and Engel makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Yang lunges at Engel with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Engel's hand.
Yang wants to clinch
and Engel counters with a slapping leg kick.

Yang tries to clinch but Engel is having none of it.
Engel catches Yang with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Engel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Yang has been working on his balance at Weed Nation, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Engel.
Engel turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Engel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Yang eats them both and turns towards Engel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yang stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Engel.
Yang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Engel but Engel pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andy Yang. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sonne Engel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Engel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
