Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ongka Ongka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Miranda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ongka comes to the cage accompanied by Abebe. Ongka Ongka could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rafael Miranda's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rafael Miranda!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ongka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Miranda swivels and escapes.
Ongka gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Miranda counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Miranda is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Miranda might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ongka haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Miranda accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Rafael Miranda wasn't active enough on the ground.
Ongka will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Miranda stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miranda wants it to stay on the feet.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Miranda enables Ongka to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miranda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

That was a close round but I would say that Ongka Ongka will probably get the nod.

Miranda content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Ongka has locked up a guillotine! Ongka's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Miranda is holding on here and Ongka must be using up a lot of energy. Miranda has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ongka gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Ongka Ongka!
Ongka Ongka was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
