The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baptista misses with a jab to the body
and Lawrence counters with a left and a right that stings Baptista.
Baptista takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lawrence swinging wildly here.
Baptista scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Lawrence tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Baptista wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Baptista looks up at the clock and then as Lawrence takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Baptista smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Baptista controls the position from side control.
Baptista tries to stand but Lawrence is controlling his head.
Baptista is staying tight to Lawrence's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Baptista tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Baptista is working Lawrence over with some ground and pound from side control.
Lawrence is rocked!
Lawrence takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Oh Lawrence is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Baptista tries to stand but Lawrence is controlling his head.
Lawrence trying to remain calm as Baptista controls from the top position.
Baptista in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Lawrence looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Baptista turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
