Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Dragon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bezt Thai! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thai closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Thai displaying some good clinch control by pressing Dragon up against the cage. Dragon tries to pull guard but Thai won't allow it.
Dragon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thai smiles and moves away.
Thai closes the distance and clinches. Dragon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Dragon misses with some punches.
Dragon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Thai walks away with a smile on his face. Dragon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thai displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dragon. Dragon gets tackled into the cage by Thai. Thai maintains the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragon fails to pull guard.

Dragon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dragon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thai just stands there and leans against the cage. Thai keeps control of Dragon as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Thai creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Dragon's defenses. Dragon pulls guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Dragon wants to stand up but Thai is controlling him. Thai wants to get up but he can't break Dragon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragon throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Thai escapes and throws Dragon's legs to the side, diving into side control! An elbow from Thai crashes against the mat.
Dragon struggling a bit here. Thai controls the position from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thai working the strikes but Dragon uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Dragon wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dragon looking for submissions off his back. Thai controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Bezt Thai. A good leg kick by Thai. Thai throws a leg kick that misses. Dragon shoots in and drives through. Thai sprawls well. Dragon shoots in but no luck this time. Dragon darts in looking for a takedown but Thai gets double underhooks and turns Dragon into the cage. Dragon pulls guard successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Bezt Thai will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Thai clinches. Dragon wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Dragon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Thai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nice sprawl there from Thai as Dragon shoots in. Thai scores with a spinning back kick! Dragon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thai sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thai throws the kick towards the body but Dragon avoids it. Thai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thai throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dragon's head. Dragon shoots in for a takedown but Thai shows good takedown defense. Dragon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Thai stuffs the takedown. Thai stuffs the takedown. Nice sprawl there from Thai as Dragon shoots in. The fight moves into the clinch position. Thai is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dragon tries to break the clinch but Thai is controlling the position. Thai tries to work over Dragon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Thai misses with an elbow strike.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Dragon creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Thai lands a damaging elbow. Thai escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice sprawl there from Thai as Dragon shoots in. Thai throws a big shot that misses. Peter Dragon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Thai. Thai clinches up with Dragon and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dragon is trying to pull guard but Thai has him pressed against the cage. Thai breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Thai throws a sloppy head kick and Dragon moves out of range easily. Dragon fails with a takedown attempt. A kick lands to the mid section there for Thai. Dragon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Thai misses with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dragon tries to clinch up. Dragon wants to slow Thai down by chopping away at his legs. Dragon wants to clinch. Thai throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dragon's head. A head kick from Thai lands but Dragon takes it in his stride. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dragon fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bezt Thai showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Dragon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Thai closes the distance and clinches. Dragon takes an elbow to the forehead. Dragon jumps guard but Thai turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Dragon wants a takedown but no success here.
Dragon tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Dragon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Thai prevents a takedown attempt there.
Dragon lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Thai lands a nice elbow. Thai lands an elbow inside that Dragon shrugs off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dragon is trying to drag Thai to the mat but Thai just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dragon looking for a takedown. Dragon pulls guard effortlessly. Dragon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thai gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Thai is pushing down on Dragon's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dragon is fighting to maintain full guard but Thai has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thai tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dragon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dragon is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Thai pulls his head out easily. Thai tries to stand and escape but Dragon actually recovers to full guard. Dragon is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Thai avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Dragon has a closed guard, preventing Thai from standing up. Peter Dragon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thai looking to sit in guard and control but Dragon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Dragon throws a big right hand that misses. Dragon's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Dragon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Bezt Thai is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dragon pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Thai is keeping the position for now.
And that's the end of the fight! Peter Dragon showed his dominance in that final round. I think Thai has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
