Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carol Deleon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christopher Huss!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Valeri Chadov and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deleon shoots in and drives through. Huss sprawls well.
Deleon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Huss fails with a takedown attempt.
Deleon uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Huss.
Deleon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Huss counters with a thumping low kick.
Huss lands a nice shot to the body.
Deleon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Carol Deleon. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Huss wants to clinch up but Deleon keeps it at a distance.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Deleon lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Huss tries to bench press Deleon off him but Deleon keeps the position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Huss is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Deleon is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Deleon is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Huss can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Deleon postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Huss looks a forlorn figure.
Deleon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Deleon takes Huss's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Huss is in trouble.

You can see the frustration on Huss's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Huss is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Deleon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Huss did well to prevent Deleon getting side control.

Carol Deleon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Deleon is nestled in close to Huss, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Huss is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Deleon pulls his head out easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deleon winds up and cracks Huss with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Deleon scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Huss is looking to control Deleon's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Huss avoid being mounted?
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Deleon connects with a nice short shot to Huss's temple.
Huss is rocked!
Deleon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Deleon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Deleon slips a nice elbow through Huss's hands, connecting with Huss's forehead.
Deleon lands a big elbow - Huss is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Deleon!
