Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ratanachai Sithbanprachan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Clint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ratanachai Sithbanprachan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joe Clint!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clint misses with a head kick.
Sithbanprachan slips under a jab.
Clint looks to throw the jab but Sithbanprachan is out of range.
Clint takes a swing at Sithbanprachan's ribcage but misses.
Sithbanprachan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Clint.

Clint misses the shot to the body.
Clint lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Sithbanprachan takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Clint throws an overhand right that lands on Sithbanprachan's shoulder, as Sithbanprachan tries to avoid the shot.
Clint throws a jab but it's blocked by Sithbanprachan.

Clint throws a head kick that misses.
Sithbanprachan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Clint.
Clint throws a sloppy head kick and Sithbanprachan moves out of range easily.
Sithbanprachan avoids the body shot from Clint.
Clint throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sithbanprachan blocks a leg kick.
Sithbanprachan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Clint scores with a push kick.
Clint pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Clint falls off balance throwing a combination
and Sithbanprachan counters with a nice double leg into side control. Clint won't be happy with that.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sithbanprachan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Clint, who protects the arm well.
Sithbanprachan has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Clint really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sithbanprachan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Clint is looking to improve his position but Sithbanprachan isn't that keen on the idea.

Sithbanprachan misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Clint defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sithbanprachan.

Sithbanprachan misses with a head shot.
Sithbanprachan sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Clint tries to lock up and control but Sithbanprachan gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Clint keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sithbanprachan thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Clint is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Clint holds on, trying desperately to control.
Sithbanprachan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Clint can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ratanachai Sithbanprachan will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Clint tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Sithbanprachan counters with a solid body kick.

Sithbanprachan blocks a head kick by Clint.
Clint fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sithbanprachan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Clint throws out a leg kick but Sithbanprachan moves out of range and Clint only half commits.
A cross from Clint lands.
Clint just misses with a punch to the body.
Clint looks to throw the jab but Sithbanprachan is out of range.
Some wild striking there from Clint.
Clint scores with a kick to the body.
A nice inside leg kick there by Clint. That's going to slow Sithbanprachan down.
Clint throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clint misses with a double jab
and Sithbanprachan counters with a head kick that drops Clint to the mat! Clint scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Clint throws a leg kick that is checked
and Sithbanprachan counters with a monster head kick that knocks Clint out cold! He topples like fallen a tree, crashing to the mat! Timbeeeeeerrr!
