Tonkov gets caught napping as Standell dives in and scores a takedown. Tonkov manages to retain guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tonkov will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Standell won't allow Tonkov to sweep him here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Tonkov can do anything to dispel that myth.

Tonkov wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Standell has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Tonkov's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Tonkov is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Standell!
