Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jake Shields (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Proffesor Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shields comes to the cage accompanied by Finch - Worms Of The Earth. Proffesor Ness told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shields drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Ness is trying to get back to half guard.
Shields throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Ness takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Shields knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ness on the ground.
Ness wants to control but Shields postures up.
Shields cracks Ness with a big right hand but Ness just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Ness is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ness bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shields 's guard.
Ness is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Shields is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Shields has escaped and now he's on top!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ness connects with a nice cross there... Shields is looking wobbly and Ness recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Shields to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Ness jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
