Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter McBain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McBain has chosen Alien8 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Billy Bob! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Peter McBain! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bob misses with a double jab
and McBain counters with a leg kick. Bob throws a predictable looking body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Bob misses with a few strikes there.
Bob throws a series of punches but McBain moves out of range. Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bob misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McBain makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. We've been informed that McBain has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and McBain counters with an inside leg kick. Bob swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Billy Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice shot lands for McBain.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McBain punishes Bob's body with a nice straight punch. A combination from Bob does no damage. Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bob misses with a wild combination.
Bob loads up on a big right hand but McBain slips the punch. A decent looking body kick lands there for McBain. Bob lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McBain circles away quickly and effectively. Bob looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bob throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bob ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McBain moves away. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bob throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and McBain counters with a good, hard body kick but Bob shrugs it off. Bob throws a combination that misses and McBain counters with a nice leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Bob will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. McBain is looking to slow Bob down with leg kicks. Bob is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Bob misses with a double jab
and McBain counters with a big head kick but Bob shrugs it off. Bob throws a left and a right that both miss
and McBain counters with a slapping leg kick. Bob throws a combination that misses and McBain counters with a flying knee. Nice. McBain slips a jab and a cross from Bob.
McBain cracks Bob with a good jab. Bob is looking to wear down McBain with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McBain throws a head kick but Bob moves out of range.
McBain takes a body punch but keeps moving. A nice inside leg kick there by McBain. That's going to slow Bob down. Bob misses the shot to the body. Billy Bob is winning the standup battle so far.

and McBain counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. McBain lands a leg kick that knocks Bob off balance momentarily. Bob looks to score with a jab to the body but McBain is just out of range. We've been told by Bob's head coaches at Vicious Striking that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Bob falls off balance throwing a combination
and McBain counters by moving into the clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! McBain pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. McBain throws an elbow but it misses.

Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

McBain's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Bob is trying to force a seperation but McBain has the dominant position. The referee calls for McBain to work.

Bob tries to break free but McBain pushes him back against the cage. McBain lands an elbow inside. McBain lands an elbow that stopped Bob in his tracks for a moment. McBain with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

McBain lands a right hand that snaps the head of Bob backwards. Bob's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! McBain stalls.

and McBain finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Bob chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McBain can pounce on him.
