The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mathews sprawls well initially but Mcgregor persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mathews is trying to stand.

Mcgregor lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Mcgregor scoring with big shots to the body. Mathews is looking for a way out. A despairing look towards the ref and the official steps in to stop the fight. Mathews was obviously done but didn't want to tap out.
