Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Emelyan Pugachov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Laid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pugachov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Du Hast. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emelyan Pugachov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Laid! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pugachov tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Laid defends well and Pugachov ends up having to push Laid into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Pugachov breaks from the clinch.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Laid. Pugachov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Laid. Pugachov throws a combination. Laid tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Pugachov is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Pugachov tries to clinch but Laid moves out of range. Laid looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pugachov is fending him off so far but Laid persists. Nope, Pugachov circles away and we're back to standing. Emelyan Pugachov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Laid. Laid on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pugachov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Laid is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Laid tries to score a body lock takedown but Pugachov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Laid manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We've been hearing that Pugachov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Laid is looking for a triangle but Pugachov pushes his legs off easily.
Pugachov working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Laid's head. Pugachov missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Laid trying to control the position.
Pugachov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pugachov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Pugachov throws a big elbow that misses. Pugachov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Laid is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Pugachov has his hands clasped together but Laid extends and breaks Pugachov's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Laid.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Mike Laid! A relieved looking Mike Laid thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. Emelyan Pugachov was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll get my revenge.'.
