Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Collar Green! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salazar slips a jab and a cross from Green.
Green tries to clinch up and Salazar counters with a shoot takedown. Green fights it but they end up in guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Salazar gets to his feet - Green follows without any prompting. Green tries to clinch up but Salazar circles away and keeps his distance. It looks like Boyce Salazar has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Salazar is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Green is controlling him well.

Green tries to clinch but Salazar moves away and Salazar counters with a shoot takedown. Green fights it but they end up in guard. Green wants to stand and escape but Salazar is having none of it. Salazar postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Green is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Salazar, into his guard. Salazar is breathing heavily. Salazar has Green pulled in close to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Green would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Boyce Salazar just wasn't active enough. Salazar swats away the attempt to clinch by Green. Collar Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Boyce Salazar. I think Salazar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
